I have owned 280AI & 7X64 Brenneke - which is virtually identical in performance to 280 Rem. 140 to 160 Accubond or Barnes TSx You will get great results with H4350 N160 Re19 and even Varget. Slow powders like H4831, MRP, Re22 will recoil more & never impressed me in 280 and similar calibers. You should get 3100 fps with 140 gr, 3000 fps with 150 gr / 154 gr and 2850 fps with 160 gr bullets & 22 inch barrel. I would avoid the SSTs at 50 to 200 yard ranges on deer. Try 'em both - the rifle will tell you which is best.

A heavier bullet provides no benefit for the game you are hunting, so I would go with the lighter of the two bullets. In fact, a 140-150 grainer would do as well and give you a little flatter trajectory, although that is splitting hairs. So, as advised, go with the bullet that your gun shoots best. The SST has a reputation for coming apart rather quickly, but it won't come apart until it has shredded the vitals of anything you list as a target.
