I was looking through some of my load data I saved on Word Doc's. and ran across this one that I thought I would share, The Data came from a gun related Magazine and sorry I did not record the name of it or the author of the article, but I do remember him saying that why was it no gunmaker had offered a 41 Special load or Weapon. well anyway it is probably old news to most of you but some newer guys might be interested in it.

Hope some of you will like it, and I saw some 41 Special comercial brass somewhere but don't remember where.
It appears to me that rather than cutting .115" off a whole bunch of brass that a man could just seat the bullets to crimp over the front driving band and use the same load data.
Won't that work?

It might, I really don't know, but you missed the point here. This guy was trying to present a new cal. not a new load. Although I guess it would be the same with one exception most of the information on this site is seamingly geared to pussing a load to it's max as opposed to developing a comfortable shooting load that might happen to help someone get to where they want to be. nothing wrong with pussing the envelope but if I personally wanted a 44 Mag. I would have bought one instead of trying to make my 45LC into one. To each their own.
One more comment here the guy that wrote the article mentioned that there was a 38 Special, to shoot in a 357 Mag. , and a 44 Special to shoot in a 44 Mag. , so why not a 41 Special to shoot in a 41Mag.!!!!!
