Don't know how readily available PMP primers are in other countries but I was wondering if anyone has experience with these? Here's my experience... Yesterday I reloaded a bunch of .40 S&W for my Glock 23 and 9X19mm rounds for my wife's Glock 43 to practise with. I ran out of CCI primers (that I normally use) and found a packet of PMP primers stashed away in my reloading room. I used the PMP primers to load the last 50 or so rounds for the 9mm and found that often they wouldn't "seat" well in the case. Probably half a dozen primers if not more ended up in the rubbish bin because they were spoiled trying to seat them. Later, on the range, my wife had three misfires using my reloads. Upon inspection it turned out all the misfires were from rounds with PMP primers. The CCI primers in my .40 and her nine performed flawlessly. Which made me think back a bit... In all the years I've been shooting the only misfires I've ever had were using PMP ammunition in my .30-06,.375H&H and also my .458 LOTT. Anyone else had similar experiences? Needless to say - this was the last time I'll be using PMP. Not only have I never used PMP primers, I have never heard of PMP primers. If I were you I would just shoot the loaded ammo with these primers, never buy any more of them and never look back. Thanks for the heads up so I will never buy any of them. Dennis Life member NRA

If that's the ones made in what was Yugolsavia I had the same probolem with their Large Rifle primers. If that's PMP as in "Pretoria Metal Pressings" of South Africa then I am surprised as the stuff they made was of best quality.
