Is the 6MM BR cartridge considered a Wildcat? If so, then of the 3 rifles I normally take to the range, 2 are Wildcats. 10 years ago a Wildcat was also know to me as a Mountain Lion

ricciardelliOnce the 6mm BR was factory loaded, and firearms were mass produced, it lost the "wildcat" uniqueness.
Now it is just considered a "discontinued" cartridge.

JALSure, but, I think I meant unique, as in unusual
history, from conception,evolution,death, and reserection as a wildcat. ??
A wild cat is one you just wounded?
