starting and max load for CFE-223 powder and the Barnes 160 gr bullet or any 160 gr bullet in my 8x57 JS.Can't find a suggestion on the internet.

Thanks to all and ski I will start at 49 and work up as my deluxe JP Sauer has a tight as a benchrest chamber, I found 4 boxes of Barnes 160 gr TTWX. I think these have been discontinued and thats a shame..I used them in Africa some few years ago and they were hammers..

jeez Ray you goin for 3-K?
I know that powder will get you there with a 150.

those 160's sound like just the ticket for the old ''under powered'' Mauser with some oomph behind them.
