I have had some very consistant and accurate groups using RL25 and 225 Swift A-frames and 250 gr Swift A-frames in my MK V 340. I was thinking that RL 25 may be a bit too slow for best performance with 210 gr bullets. I was looking at the 210 gr Barnes TSX bullets and thought that because of the relatively long bearing surface of the Barnes X bullets compared to conventional bullets RL 25 may be suitable. Has anyone out there tried RL25 with the 210 gr TSX?? Any velocities?? Thanks for any info that might be out there.

My favorite for my 340 is 7828SSC. I am always tinkering, though. What velocities are you getting with RL25 and 225gr and 250gr bullets?

Jabs 225 gr bullets in the 3050 fps range and 250gr bullets around 2900. I found the groups in my rifle were significantly smaller with the RL25 than with 7828. RL22 is also very good with the 225 gr bullets but again the RL25 had better groups

IF you could, please PM me or post some loads for me to work up to. I cannot find any data on RL25 and the 340.
