Federal Ammo Question, is it legal?
A friend of mine asked me if he could legally own this stuff. We're in Louisiana if that matters. It is Federal Premium Law Enforcement HST. He has asked several cops, who don't seem to know. The box says made exclusively for law enforcement, but doesn't say not for civilian use. It is .45 acp +p.

Yuppers!!!!!

As a matter of fact at least some ammo is marketed as "Law enforcement" as a marketing gimmick.....folks buy it thinking it's "special" and it's not!

As long as the projectile is "deforming" type it's not an NFA item.
