Below are some recovered pictures of Bullets recovered from a Safari in June. The load data is posted on the picitures. I saw the other recovered Bullets and thought some would like to see the bullets.

I love the TSX, they shot one holes in all my rifles and they are great bullets. My friend used them in Botswana and the Cameroon in 404 Jeffery, 500 NE, 300 Wby and 375 for over 30 animals and they preformed great.
I have shot close to 40 animals with the TSX and love them. The only ones that the petals fell off where the Blue Wildebeest my son shot at close range. His first shot was a little high but the Bull only ran about 75 yards and stoped under a tree. He was hurt bad and I am sure about to expire. My son put another one in him and he dropped. Most of his animals dropped like rocks including the Kudu.

Hey Tradewinds, Congratulations on what was obviously a fantastic Hunting Trip.

When ever " I " get to liking something that well, it always seems to be removed from the market. So, I generally lay in a right good Supply. But Bullets have been getting better since about the mid-`80s and there may be some you would like even better. Don't see how they could perform any better though.

Congratulations to you and your son.

I have several hundred of all the bullets i use. I even use them for are small fl. deer. I thought the tipped tsx would be the ultimate but i have not been able to get a great group from them yet, tried in 30/06 and 270 WSM and never got a great group. And they are quite a bit longer.

My friend had one in the 404 Jeffery that did not open properly, but it hit a smal tree and hit the buffalo sideways. He also shot a Jackal at about 50 yds with the 300 wby and it blew the jackal apart.

My son shot a Steenbuck and it blew a huge hole, so i have never experienced one not opening up in thin skinned animals.

We never would have recovered so many bullets because most first shots where fatal but complete pass throughs, but I have a rule to keep shooting until they are down and not moving. Plus I paid a $5 bounty on each recovered bullets. The skinners really spent some time looking.

They all worked perfectly. You found them in dead animals.

Thank you for taking the time and effort to present them for us.

Very impressive performance indeed. We are loaded with the TSX for our first trip Africa. This is one more thing I need not worry about.

Nice! It looks like they performed just like they were supposed to. To be honest, I'm surprised you recovered as many as you did; most of the reports I've heard have been full penetration!

Like I said in an earlier post most broadside first shots where complete passthroughs. Usually the recovered bullets where second shots. The only first shot with 300 RUM was a Gemsbuck at 405 yds and Eland at 160 yds with a RF. I keep shooting till they where down.
