375H&H Pressures... Quick-Load?

Fellow friends and reloaders.

I am looking for someone on this website who would have the program (Quick Load) and that would be kind enough to check a load for me. I own a Winchester M70 classic stainless chambered for the tried and true 375H&H. I have a few boxes of CT FailSafe in 270gr and 2 boxes of Barnes TSX in 270gr. Calling Nosler to get some load info, they told me that I could use the 260gr load for the Failsafe... Now looking at the Nosler manual, they give a max load of 73gr of RL15 for a book velocity of 2793fps.

My first question is: What does Quick-Load give using a 270gr CT Failsafe with 73gr of RL15 (pressure and velocity wise) for this load? How much RL15 is required to get 2800fps? Whats the pressure?

My second question is: According to Quick-Load, Which powder would give me an honest 2800 fps with a Barnes 270gr XLC or TSX? Which pressures would it generate.

Thank you again for your time and help.

Enigma

P.S. Original message was edited since I wanted to talk about this program called Quick-Load and not (Load from a disk) which I previously mentioned!

Don't own a load from a disk, but my standard load with a 270 gr .375 is 72 gr. of RL15 behind a North Fork bullet for 2770 fps. I have a pressure trace, but haven't put a gauge on the .375 yet, but it is safe even in hot weather.

Don't have load from a disk, But Lee's "Modern Reloading" 2nd edition lists the following...

Vit. N-160 is the only one that comes close to your mark at 2790.

And the 4350's are in the low 2700 with the 270gr. bullet.

Thank you everyone for your input. I would also be very interested to hear about your loads jstevens if you ever decide to hook-up that Pressure Trace system to your 375. What brand of rifle do you own?

Best Regards,

Enigma

75.5 gr of H4350, Fed 215, WW brass, Hornady 300gr nets me 2513 avg.

For refrence, 76.0 gr of the same load nets me 2530 avg.

Barrel is 25.5" and both loads are a full 5.5gr less than max (@ 81.5gr) and they are very accurate in my guns.

I'm also working up some loads for the NF Cup Points and 71.0gr of H4350 has netted me @ 2430 thus far.

I'll be adding a bit more to get to the 2500 fps mark.
