I was lucky enough to buy a Remington 700 in 280 remington, the best part is it is a CDL and I only paid 350 for it. Anyway I just wanted to see if anyone has loaded the sierra gamekings in 150gr for the 280. I shot my first deer with a gameking last year and I have fallen in love with the bullet. If anyone has loads with this bullet can you also let me know how the load worked on game, I would appreciate that also. Thanks everyone!

Good deal on your M700. My 280 is a M70, but I have to admit to not having an affection for the 150gr bullets. Either 139-145gr for deer & antelope or 160gr for bigger deer & elk. H4831sc for 140gr, tough to beat for accuracy & velocity. For heavier bullets, IMR7828ssc, H4831sc still works well, but you lose almost 100fps.

FWIW, I shoot the 154gr Horn bullet using 53.8grs of I4350.
I had a load for 150gr Core Lokts but I can't find it right now. I'm pretty sure it was some amount of I4350. I used the Core Lokt bullet to kill a cow elk. --long story--.
