Anyone here ever loaded for the 9mm Largo? A buddy of mine has asked if I would load him some ammo for a destroyer carbine if he bought the needed tools and supplies. I said yes but none of my loading manuals contains this cartridge and I need help. Also can you use 9x23win dies to load this cartridge?

I use my 9mm luger dies to load mine with lee taper crimp die. Starline has largo brass. I think you should be able to use 9x23 dies I use 7 grs of herco with a 115 jhp for 1250 fps.

Hi: Ive been loaded 9 largo in the last years with a RCBS 9 mm Luger die set, using a ring of 4 mm so I dont have to move any of the locks of the dies. A few years ago I reloaded for a Destroyer using a FMJ heavier bullet ( 124 grains) and 6.7 grains of unique, getting 1.050 fps. Its a very nice cartridge for that gun, and you can develop a very powerful loads for it.
Greetings
