I just loaded some 300gr cast performance 44mag bullets for my 1894 marlin levergun.I used W296 started at 19gr and stopped at 20gr.I used WLP,W-W,Lee crimp.I hope these shoot accurate.Anyone else load these?

I haven't loaded that brand, but have loades SSH & my own cast ones. Your load of W296 is a good one. The same load of H110 is also a good one. Those heavy hard cast bullets penetrate like crazy.

Loaded 355 Beartooth with gas checks 2 weeks ago. I used 17 gr of LILgun and 18.5 gr of H110. Both hit 1100 fps from my 6.5" Anaconda and great accuracy. You will feel the recoil. Go to http://www.hodgon.com/..they feature 44 heavies!
