Buy locally if you can. The shipping is always a bitch otherwise and besides, you keep the guy on the corner in business. Cash and carry, no paperwork or credit card trail (for the tin-foil hat crowd )

Something you wanna watch out for is the hazmat charge. It's tacked onto shipping and I think it is $25. No way around it unless you can pickup yourself. The best you can do is order powder in four eight pound jugs. Four is a case and most places with mix powders within a case, at least of one manufacturer. I think one pound cans are mostly 12 to a case and that's an extra $2 a pound, just for the hazmat. 32 pounds brings the cost per pound down around 75 cents.
