VV 140 {43.5 gr.} is a great load to start with if you are looking for a light bullet load for target shooting.

When you reload the 416 Rigby, two pounds doesn't seem like too much. I use 103 grains of N165 for 2425 fps with most 400 grain bullets in my CZ 550 Magnum. Leaves less powder residue than the others that I have tried at similar pressure levels. You won't have any problem selling your VV powder to anyone you know who reloads at a small discount for an open container so your risk is small if your firearm doesn't "like" it.
