I can't seem to locate any data on TSX bullets. Barnes claims you can run loads a little hotter with TSX's because of reduced pressures. I have some h4831 on hand and was wondering what a healthy load would be, I am thinking of 59 or 60 grains of h4831 in times when one needs a rifle, he tends to need it very badly.....PHC

You should be able to start with about 52 grains and work your way up looking for pressure signs and go to around 58-60. Doc is a huge .270/TSX shooter. He can tell you the right starting point for that load. FiSTers... Running is useless.

I have shot130 grn interbonds and SST's with up to just under 60 grains without any issues, Just wondering if the TSX's could go more than this, not that I am going to start out at any more than 60 grains in times when one needs a rifle, he tends to need it very badly.....PHC

In my rifle, with my components, I have loaded 61gr H4831sc and a 130gr TSX, and no pressure signs. I get about 3125fps with it. A max charge of RL22 and the 130grTSX gets me better accuracy and around 3185fps.

I am getting excellent results with Rel 19; 57 grains infact, haven't choroned it but accuracy as good as 3/8 " at 100 yards W-W Brass and Federal 210M primers, bullets seated to .035" from lands- no pressure signs in my rifle
