bellhender22/30 caliber sabots
Hail "O" mighty and knowledgeable group!!
I had purchased bullets called accellorators for my 30-06 years ago and would love to be able to get these for my 300 win. Can anyone tell me where I can purchase these. Also if they are available in Canada. I don't even know if you buy the nylon sleeve separate from the bullet or if they are already together when you purchase them. Of course with this I'll need a recipe to go with it.
Any takers

TomPI thought the were available for reloading, maybe not.
Will there ever be accelerators for 7mm?

SwanyTupperware, a good food container but a poor choice for a bullet container. Melted plastic is a bad thing for bbls. Want fps and accuracy, try a 110hp. Never seen a sabot that done what a proper jacketed bullet can do. It's your bbl, but I still say don't.

ClarkThe military gets great accuracy with smooth bores, sabots, and finned projectiles.
With a .308, 22/30 sabots, and 55 gr. .224 bullets, I got big groups.
Those groups would be ok for my average $50 surplus rifle and military ammo, but my expensive .223 rifles have spoiled me with .8 to 2" groups, so 4 to 8" groups are a waste of good 55 gr. bullets.
