The best way is get a mentor to show you the ropes. The next best thing are books & DVDs. http://www.midwayusa.com/ebrowse.exe/browse?TabID=11&Ca...egorystring=10614***
The ABCs of reloading is classic & several of the loading manuals like Speer & Hornady have a good intro. Do some reading & ask some questions & then jump in.

Bang,
Where are you located? Post that and there may be a member that lives near you. You will find that the people on these forums are super at helping new members. When you said you just got your firearms license do you mean FFL or local license?

Besides the above excellent info given by our fellow forum members, I think a great source of info is looking at gun shops, and book dealers for older reload manuals... usually they are very very cheap... and contain most of the info that is in current manuals, unless you are shooting one of the trendy cartridges like the 300 WSM etc.

I have bought them for $3.00 to $5.00....

Never can have access to too much info in my opinion...

I too like shooting my own loads... jumping

On a serious note: I´ve heard good things about Lee´s second edition. Vihtavuori has a good guide to handloading but it´s useless if you don´t load their powders.
