Why do people get so excited when a new bullet or powder comes out? You have to run out and get it and develop loads for your gun and in 3months it out of stock and will never be seen again. They will come out with a new one and they do the same thing again.

Same reason people buy new cars and get new women; old things are boring. It is human nature to gravitate toward new things. Look at all the "new" (useless) cartridges that have been developed over the past 20 years; many of them are dead but when they came out, they were the best thing since canned beer.

Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..

At my age and condition the Wet Wipes seem to be an incredibly fine adjunct to toilet paper.

I thought all toilet paper was the same; all we have is what my wife buys, the cheapest, roughest stuff made. Better than corn cobs though, but not by much.

Yeah, who needs that smokeless powder and jacketed bullets anyway?! As long as my powder is dry and I got good flint, I'm ready to rock!

So what DID you old folks do before there were Sears and Roebuck catalogs anyway? Smiler Smiler

A good job is sometimes just a series of expertly fixed fark-ups.
Let's see.... is it 20 years experience or is it 1 years experience 20 times?
And I will have you know that I am not an old fart. I am a curmudgeon. A curmudgeon is an old fart with an extensive vocabulary and a really bad attitude.
