My hands down favorite 300 WSM powder is H 4350. I have worked up loads for six different rifles in 300WSM so far and they all shot quite well with H 4350.

I worked up my loads in 2005 when I bought my rifle, so I haven't tried Rl 17 yet, but my best accuracy and highest velocity is with RL-19.
Unless you are using LIGHT bullets you might give up velocity using RL17 not your RL19. If you have an accurate load with RL19 that you are happy with I sure wouldn't waste time and $$ trying RL17.

While I'm still not satisfied with the results of the 165 grain SSTs or NBTs, RL-19 is working the best. RL-22 did well too but IMR4831, IMR4350 and W760 didn't do as well.
The crazy thing is that H4895 and a 110 grain Vmax are the most accurate, go figure.
I haven't tried any other bullet weights.

All I had when I loaded for a friend was DP-85, which Accurate/Western claims can be loaded using Ramshot Hunter data. I used 165-grain Speer GS and opted for one grain under max for that weight projectile, with Fed. 215s, brass trimmed to spec and flash holes de-burred. His Tikka shot them to .5 MOA at 100 and no pressure signs...
