Loaded up some 50 gr Vmax and 23g of reloader 10x, accuracy for 3 shots averages about .675 with no work to trigger or stock, this is 1/2 the size of the factory target. I was wondering if anyone had experience with this combo, I'm using Lake City Brass and CCI primers, brass cut to 1.750 and AOL is 2.250. My chronograph is averaging these loads at about 3050 fps. Does anyone using the 10x go above 25g and is it safe? Any other recipe suggestions would be appreciated, I would like to get the round to about 3300 fps. Federal factory ball ammo (55g) is firing at 3335 fps, but not as accurate. Wolf 55g ammo is firing at 2975 fps and very accurate believe it or not at .350 3 shot group. Any other powder and bullet suggestions are welcome. | ||
