Those Berdan primers are .217" or 5.5mm size which fit many of the nitro express Berdan primed cases so they are worth having. I use the same size Kynoch primers to reload Kynoch brass for my 404.

You can try here:

https://www.sportsmanfulfillme...ng-supplies/primers/

I went back and forth about this place, they don't have a phone which sets off a flag but on line people seem to be able to order stuff from them.

Anyway, I finally decided to place an order and then find out they apparently don't ship them to my state. So anyway, do your own research and let us know how it goes.

The post was originally a RED FLAG as to Berdan primers! A search on that site revealed those primers for sale----Never saw berdan primers advertised that way!

Was trying to caution shooters to NOT read to fast and notice that the primers were in fact Berdan-----NOT BOXER!

Yes unusual advertising them as "Large Rifle" primers, most Berdans are advertised by size or number if RWS and Kynoch primers or by designation such 7.62 Nato Berdan as these PMC ones are at Powder Valley. You are right in red flagging them.

I note on a few other forum sites members are posting about their availability at Powder Valley and even some drongo suggesting it maybe possible to use them in boxer brass by reusing spent anvils from boxer primers Roll Eyes

Obviously the individual knows zilch about Berdan primers, different diameters and flash holes etc.

I was in two Cabela's stores in the past two days, they actually had cartons of primers on the shelf, even CCI small pistol.
One store was selling the cartons (1000 primers) for $89,
and the other store had a 3 box (100 primers) limit for $8.90 each.
