If you are already using a Lyman/Culver you already have the best. Just remember that how uniformly you raize the handle is just as important as lowering the handle or knocking.

As it was explained to me many years ago, "I feel sorry for those who think ballistics is an exact science. They just don't understand the problems."

I call my RCBS Chargemaster combo a powder measure. If that definition is acceptable to you, it is the zoot-capri!

I will second Mr. Ohler's recommendation. I also welcome him to the board. He sure built me a great chronograph.

And I'll third the Culver recommendation. I am fortunate enough to have several of Homers' measures and understand why all other BR measures are judged by his. I also have a "jacket spinner" he made me and it is fantastic. I sure miss the old man.

And if you want precise loads, you'll measure them on a decent scale. I like a beam scale, but also have a digital. Dirt and fuzz in the pan can affect a load.

The Harrell is one of the best out there. It uses a Culver style measuring system and is much better made than the lyman. Thanks for the link above.....................DJ
