Case width and pressure question
Im dreaming up an idea and need some info on the .25-06 and the .35 Whelen.

If anyone knows how wide the case is on each and the pressure ranges they can produce it would help me greatly.

The 25-06 & 35Whelen are simply a 30-06 necked down to .257 and up to .358. As Jeff said the posted max pressure for the Whelen is lower. For the reloader in the same rifle there is no reason they can't be loaded to the same pressure.

As usual just my $.02

My data for the Whelan is 52,000 CUP.....I think Jeff's data is better and correct in PSI

This is the good news.....The Whelan can be loaded to 62,000 PSI in almost any modern bolt action that is currently chambered for the .25-06 or the .270 Win
