I have lee collet dies for my 300 win mag and 300 wby mag. I like the consistant neck tension and ease of use. But after 1-2 firings I start to feel bolt tension on "lock down" and my point of impact seems to change slightly. I'm wondering if it might be fun to have the body dies to whip the rest back into shape after using the collet die. Is there any negatives I should know about before buying these dies?? I can't help but think the combo of the 2 dies could make really "perfect" ammo....nice and straight and barely working the neck and body for a great chamber fit???

i use redding dies for my .308 and the body die works as advertised. If yur cheap like me. I took a fl lee die for 243 and removed the guts and opened up the neck with a carbide drill and presto had a body die. Dave

I use the combination of a NS and a Redding Body die in many of my calibers. Works well. - mike ********************* The rifle is a noble weapon... It entices its bearer into primeval forests, into mountains and deserts untenanted by man. - Horace Kephart
