In my Barnes reloading manual it lists XMR4350 but not IMR4350 powder. Are these powder comparable in load data? I am going to load up some 300 gr. Barnes X bullets. For 300's I only have the following data: AA-4350 From 102.0 grains to 107.0 grains Federal 215 Primer H-4350 From 96.0 grains to 108.0 grains Federal 215 Primer However, for 325's: AA-4350 From 98.0 grains to 103.0 grains Federal 215 Primer H-4350 From 94.0 grains to 105.0 grains Federal 215 Primer IMR-4350 From 87.0 grains to 108.0 grains Federal 215 Primer As you can see, there is a significant difference. I have assigned the following "burning rates" to the 4350 powders: Faster 176 IMR-4350 177 H-4350 181 AA-4350 Slower | |||

Well, now, that is interesting, in that you max IMR 4350 load for the 325 grainer is three grains higher than the hottest load of the other two powders for that bullet, yet IMR 4350 is the fastest of the three...... It does appear that the STARTING LOAD for any of these "4350" powders could be used as a STARTING LOAD for either of the other two?? "Bitte, trinks du nicht das Wasser.
