This would be interisting about the sabots now that there are hign speed. Just measured some of my 45s right at .454. Don't have a 45 colt other wise I would work some loads up. The othe trouble you could have is the bullets coming out of the cly. during recoil. The 357 bullets are not a real tight fit in the sabot. It would be really fun to try. Should be able to get some good vel. out of them. I wonder has anybody out there tryed this. | |||

I like to expand things or I would go with 125s and herco or red dot. You would have to figure the whole weight sabot and bullet for powder charge. i rember in a gun digest. some one writing about using very lite bullets Ie plastic ect for very high vel. If you coud find that article it could be a good starting pt. Well try and look it up. | |||
