Woohoo! Hornady is now producing bonded 500gr .458 RN, 400gr .416 RN and will soon be producing Interbond 300gr .375 RN. I really like their Interlock 300/375 but it's just a tad soft. Now that it's going bonded ...watch out chipmunks ! BH1 There are no flies on 6.5s!

No, it would be perfect if they would make a 400gr/404 jeff. LIFE IS NOT A SPECTATOR'S SPORT!

I've been using them (targets only) for about 3 months now in 458 Lott and they seem to have the same profile as the older Interlock, but... The jacket metal is a totally different alloy (it's goldenish) and for the same powder amount the velocity is faster (as the friction is less) so to keep your loads shooting to the same POI you have to reduce your loads. I know more velocity out of the same powder load is going to really piss off the speed freaks But that's their problem... The down side is they cost about 30% more and the calibers where they are producing bonded bullets there will be no more Interlocks, good news/bad news kinda thing Oh yeah, one more thing, the bonded bullets are a fair bit longer for the same weight so you end up with less powder space and for near 100%+ and compressed loads case space might be a problem.
