Does anyone have either a Forster or Corbin press? I have read of the capabilities of the Corbin for reloading or swaging. Are they as good as their literature claims? Any advantages over the typical presses?

Howdy,
I use the Forster/Bonanza Co-Ax press. Best press I ever saw. Email me if you wish with any questions. I will be happy to reply.

Among the 8 or 9 presses I've owned the Forster Coax is by far the best. The mechanical advantage is superb. Had I bought it first I'd have never owned most of the others. Don't know a thing about the Corbin.

I use the series II Corbin for loading and case forming. At this time I am set up to make 30-06 cases into 7.65 Argentine. Before that I made .358 Win from .308. It is a heavy press and I occasionally make jacketed bullets with it. If you want to swage bullets in the future just buy the Series II or better yet. Buy the walnut Hill from RCE. I believe the Walnut Hill is built slightly heavier and is cheaper than the Corbin press. Good luck PAK [Wink]
