I have a Bonanza press, and I'm considering a .375 H&H rifle. Can somebody tell me if there is a clearance problem with the dies? I found this comment on Sinclair's site: "Redding Competition seaters longer than 308 Winchester will not work in this press due to length."
Thanks, | ||

Don't know about the Redding dies, but the RCBS dies for the 30/378 work fine in mine. I also prime them with it.

Yes, the long-action Redding Competition/Micrometer seater dies are too long for the Co-Ax. Solution: buy Forster's micrometer seater instead. It's just as good of a die (if not better) and costs about the same. I have yet to figure out why Redding needs to make there competition seaters so long. The Forster does the same thing, but is significantly shorter. Go figure. RSY

Rick: I've loaded my .375 Ack Imp and .416 Rigby on my Co-Ax, using standard RCBS dies, and never had a problem.

Thanks for all the answers. I have a Forster micrometer seating die for 7TCU, and it's pretty tall. I'm glad to hear that they have a .375HH version. Rick. [This message has been edited by rick3foxes (edited 02-15-2002).]
