There is a quote from me on that web page:
http://www.thegunzone.com/glock/kb-notes.html

There is another web page, "You say kaboom, I say case failure"
http://www.recguns.com/Sources/XN.html

I have tried to see if I could blow up allot of guns, and basically in an incremental work up, the brass fails in most guns before the guns does.

I have never been able to hurt a Glock, and I am up to 146% extra powder, as I said above.

There are some crummy guns out there:
1) Most 38 specials get 2 to 8 grains past the max load for 357 mag, and then the cylinder splits, and the top strap breaks. I have done this three times
2) Most antique Iver Johnson break top 32sw and 38sw break top revolvers have a 2-56 screw or some such pin in the latch and a tiny eye that captures it. Jacketed load and heavy recoil will elongate that eye.
3) CZ52 pistols have a thin spot in the bottom of the chamber where the barrel is milled out for the rollers. The pistol will split the chamber before the brass will fail. Tokarevs are much stronger. Exactly the opposite of what the load books say.

My guess is that every Glock that ever blew up was not in an incremental work up where the shooter was looking at each piece of brass that ejected.

Hmm, looks like I need to see if my glocks or any other gun I own will fire out of battery.

Any 357 revolvers that you would recommend or unrecommend (S&W, Ruger, Taurus)?

I think I need a large frame, medium-large bore revolver, since I dont own one.

BTW, I don't plan on pushing the revolver past normal book loads.
