Has anyone used CFE223 in a 9.3x62? What results di you get with 286 and 300gr bullets?

I can't advise, having no experience with the 9.3x62. However, I can attest that in a .308 I've gotten better velocities with modest pressures from CFE223 than with any other powder I might have used in 40 years of reloading the .308. What we used to call the "expansion ratio" of the .308 and the 9.3x62 are quite similar, so I would anticipate good performance from CFE223 in this round.

I have a 9.3x62 coming and I will certainly try CFE223, as its a great powder and it DOES CLEAN A BARREL AS ADVERTISED..Ive used it in a few calibers and its worked in a number of calibers..I did my testing some time ago. will have to pull of that file and double check before I name specific rounds but so far I have no idea on the 9.3x62 but suspect since RL-15 has been my favorite powder Im betting CFE223 will fit right in there..Be interesting what this thread produces, you never know on AR ![]() Ray Atkinson Atkinson Hunting Adventures 10 Ward Lane, Filer, Idaho, 83328 208-731-4120 rayatkinsonhunting@gmail.com
