jcjr ----- I shoot a .338 Lapua, but I was not aware Barnes made a 285 grain TSX BT bullet. I did not find it listed in their list of .338 bullets. Could you possibly be refering to the 185 grain bullet. Good shooting.

If you go to barnes store, they are listed under the TSX bullets on page 3. I just bought a box of 50. I cant believe they are making a bullet that they have not done a load test on.

I don't think these bullets .338 Banbes TSX are specific to the "Lapua". There is a wealth of info on other .338 loads. I use the 300 Scenar FMJBT in my AI rifle for match shooting. What are you using the Barnes for? I may have some data on that weight you can build on..

I am relaoding it for hunting, whats funny about the bullet is that on the box it has Lapua noted on it liek it was built special for a Lapua. Any help would be appreciated.

You must be going for something pretty big with that round, perhaps an Elk out at 1200 meters? I do have some load data for you and I'll post it here some time tomorrow for you. You should still be able to use generic 285 Gr. (bullet) load data working up from the bottom and avoiding the max. You probably already know that mid to slightly higher loads some where in between are your most accurate so you won't have any problems in that area.
