Does anyone know if remington 180 core-lokt round nose bullets are still available as components? I've looked at a number of web sites and can't find them listed (except for factory loaded amo).

They were available a couple of months ago from one of the more well known ammo houses like Weidners or ???? I bought a couple of boxes of 500 in bulk..they are listed as SPCL not PSPCL (Pointed Soft Point Core Lokts) Mine are 180 grs...
Yes, isn't it just a total drag that Remington seems to have discontinued these. All the new-fangled bullets get all the hype, what used to work a treat no longer sells...
If it is really true that they can be had on-line, I'll definitely shop for a box or two!

dogtagger, Remington makes surplus bullets available as component parts for reloading. If they don't have any surplus you can't find them. Speer makes a 180 flatnose that is available always and it shoots well at velocities of 2700 FPS and all the way down to 35 Remington.
