I'm looking for a .375 H&H load -300gr swift a frame using IMR 4350 (because I have 3lbs of it) I got a fast glimpse at a Swift manual & it stated 71.1 to 75.6 grains. My former load was 75.2 of IMR 4350 & 300 gr Nosler Partitions. I've got 3 touching at 100yds several times. I also use Fed 215 primers. My rifle is a Interarms- Whitworth. My sons friend is a guide & has got 96 brown bears for clients & has seen many partitions fall completely apart. My son is also a guide & uses IMR7828 with 400 gr Barnes in his .416WM. If I had to I guess I could borrow his powder when he's not looking. Any help would be appreciated. I hunt the same places the the brown bears do. Thank you Dave

I recently worked up loads for an H-S Precision rifle chambered in 375 H&H. It shot much better groups with the 300 grain Swift than it did with either the 250 grain Sierra or the 300 grain Nosler. This is the second 375 H&H that has shot best with the 300 grain Swift. I settled on a load consisting of a Remington case, a Fed 215M primer, 77 grains of H 4350, and the 300 grain Swift A-Frame loaded to an OAl of 3.60 inches. The pressures seem mild, the velocity is about 2550 fps and the groups are great, some down to half an inch. R Flowers
