larry b.stoney point mod. case?
Is it possible to just make one of these rather than buy one? What would have to be done to a case to make one? Does anyone know what tap is needed? Thanks

muckYes you can. You need the 5/16"X 36 Tap.
Infact you actually get a "better" reading of your rifle's chamber by using a fireformed case.
Use a drill press or hobbie lathe.

Bob257Wouldn't you have to open up the neck a little too so that the bullet can slide through?

safarihunterI use a sized case and split the neck so I can hand press bullet. Seems to work for me.

EXPRESSI tried the split neck versions but wasn't happy.
I'm going to go se if I can find one of these taps.
