Greg -
Is this your bullet of interest:

https://www.hornady.com/shop/?ps_session=5e96d80a2eed23...1103887cf10c6d0bc204

If so, I'm pretty sure it is actually intended for use w/ the 444 Marlin. I'm not sure how it would work in other applications...

You did not specify what type of firearm / caliber you are loading for, so I guess that would be a good place to start. What do you say?

I've used a lot of Hornady's 250 grain XTPs in .45 Colt so it's clear I like jacketed bullets, however, I think ol' Elmer Keith had it right from the get go -lead semi-wadcutters! They'll cut a nice round hole plumb through just about any animal they hit.

I like that bullet alot for hunting. Load it like you would a 300gr. H110 & W296 are top performers.
