Been using mostly RCBS, Dillon, Lee, and Redding dies all these years. Trying to set a Hornady bullet seating die in 6mm Remington. Seems like it must be set very high off the shellholder in order to not bulge the case shoulder. Does not seem to have much latitude for adjustment. What am I missing ? Hammer

If you are screwing the die down to touch the shell holder then you are incorrectly setting the die. Just screw your die into the press a couple of turns. Run a sized case up into the die. Screw the die down till it touches the shoulder of the case and back of a 1/2 turn so you don't crimp the bullet in the case. If you are doing this and are still having problems then I suggest you call Hornady at 1-800-338-3220 Hope this helps.
