I just picked up a custom 375 Weatherby mag. I would like information on loads using 300 grain bullets. Thanks, Lou **************** NRA Life Benefactor Member

My favorite and only load I used in my .375 weatherby is 88 grains if imr 4350 with 300 grain sierra spbt - it is max load in my rifle I'd start under and work up as the freebore on the gun can make a great difference on this caliber - still have 2 boxes of 270 factory I found but like my load so much I never bothered with'em. That said it's a very powerful gun I used for Elk hunting and accuracy was suprising for such a large gun.

84-87 grains H-4350. Unlike a lot of magnums, you don't have to jam this case full of powder to get a good result. It is a very well balanced cartridge. Check to see how much freebore the reamer that cut the chamber had. Huntingtons and Cabelas both have the brass. IIRC Cabelas price is better. LD
