I just picked up a custom 375 Weatherby mag. I would like information on loads using 300 grain bullets. Thanks, Lou

These are from the latest Hornady book
WLRM primers. ALL MAX LOADS
any 300g Hornady bullet

H4895 72.3g = 2600 fps

Varget 75.0g = 2600

RL-15 75.0g = " "

AA2700 76.6g = " "

AA4350 86.1g = 2700

H4350 87.1g = 2700

IMR4350 87.7g = 2700

I would start 5.0g LESS and work up!!! You will like that caliber beer

My favorite and only load I used in my .375 weatherby is 88 grains if imr 4350 with 300 grain sierra spbt - it is max load in my rifle I'd start under and work up as the freebore on the gun can make a great difference on this caliber - still have 2 boxes of 270 factory I found but like my load so much I never bothered with'em.

That said it's a very powerful gun I used for Elk hunting and accuracy was suprising for such a large gun.

84-87 grains H-4350. Unlike a lot of magnums, you don't have to jam this case full of powder to get a good result. It is a very well balanced cartridge. Check to see how much freebore the reamer that cut the chamber had. Huntingtons and Cabelas both have the brass. IIRC Cabelas price is better.
