It is out of production. I have about 300 rounds of it, bought them cheap as they were on close out.

I use it in a 6mm Remington several times. It will do a good job on deer.

My load was 44 grains of RL 19. Accuracy did not set the world on fire, but it was easily minute of deer at 200 yds.

Wish someone else made one that was non copper. I like round nose bullets and heavy for caliber. I also horded a bunch of the 105 Speer Round Noses. Guess 10 more grains of bullet won't make a lot of difference. The Speers are a lot more accurate in my rifle.

Cheers and good shooting

CDHJ, I have several boxes of these. They're the REALLY old ones. I tried them with a load or two in my old Ruger 77 6mm but they wouldn't stabilize. Let me know if you want some.

Seafire/B17G,
Thank you for the information.
Have an old Barnes number one reloading manual.
It list a top velocity load of 45 grains of H4831.
2989 from a 26 inch barrel.
Made me think if I could push this 6MM bullet near the speed of the 115 grain 25'06 it should be sure death on small deer within 200 yards.
How did the deer you shot with this bullet react? Instant death or did they run? How far?
Thanks again for your reply.
Regards,
CDHJ
