I recently purchased a new progressive press and I'd like to mount it above the bench top around 10" or so. I thought about building a stand but I think I want a more professional look than what I think I would produce. The problem is the press is a Hornady LnL AP. Have any of you modified (drilled new holes or whatever) a Dillon Strong Mount to fit another press? Is there another commerical option available? Which Dillon mount would give me around a 10" rise?

There is only one Dillon SM I am aware of. It may or may not fit the LNL, but the holes are slotted on my 550B mount. The centers of the 550B are 2 7/8". It can be moved closer together or spread further apart in the other direction. For years I just had mine mounted on a 4x6 flat, but I like the add'l. ht. as I load standing.

There are two strong mounts. One increases height by 6", the other 8". The taller of the two is part# G61-22051.
