Has anyone gone through the process of calibration of pressure testing ammo and done a calculation on the errors in tracing to the National Burea of Standards?

I have been through this process with electronic test equiptment and I know it is allot of work.

The reason I ask is the ourtragously light loads theat the Midway Load Map worked up with a Oehler.

It's not NBS anymore. It's National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

It's very doubtful that formal traceability exists, and I'm sure that formal measurement system analysis does not.

There is an article in the July Varmint Hunter that does formal measurement systems analysis on the Shooting Chrony, and the CUP, piezoelectric, and strain gauge methods for measuring pressure. As far as I know, it is the first time anything of the kind has been published.
