| You need a swaging die; easy to make them if you have a lathe. Make a die, and punch to fit your reloading press as long as it is a strong one. Reducing bullets .002 is not drastic; of course it won't work with solids. I have only done it with copper jackets; I have not tried steel jacketed bullets like Hornadys. They are pretty soft though. |

Swaging is easy enough as dpcd outlines above it you can make the die or someone can for you but why bother when Woodleigh makes .408" bullets in both SN and Solid styles? |
