I use lee dippers and I want to use large rifle primers for my 7mm rem mag and my powder is hodgdon h4831 and the lee dipper shows 4.3 would I have to change my dipper because of the large rifle primer. Thanks | ||

No Lee loads are light. Check your dipper chart load against a loading manual. | |||

B-47, H-4831 is an outstanding powder for the 7mm Rem Mag. I would use a Magmun Large Rifle primer for this intended load although with a Large Rifle primer things will work fine. I would also suggest doing a Google Search for Lee Dippers and you'll probbaly find some great advice on using them and maintainig a good load-for-load consistancy, too. Cheers, Number 10 | |||

I recommend getting an inexpensive powder scale....then you will be able to confirm what your dippers are doing. They are quite good actually, but run on the light side of what they say you'll get..... Then use them to make the book load of your choice! Cheers, Dan | |||
