I use VVN120 with 40gr Vmax in sako brass with CC!BR primers. 20.8gr gives 2580fps. This OK according to VV but a grain over max according to Hornady.

The reason I tell you this is that the Hornady tech rep stated that the 35gr Vmax had the same bearing area and hence the same load data. It is basicaly the 40gr without the boat tail and BC suffers accordingly.

If you want real fun with light bullets try the 30gr Berger MEFs, I'm up to 4,000fps and climbing with fantastic accuracy and no pressure. BC is rubbish but they are fun!
