I am going to try using imr 4895 with a 155gr bullet and I was just wondering if anyone had tried this combo before. Thanks for any advise.

The reson itshigheris beacuse the recoil raises the muzzle, just a little higher before the bullet clears the barrel. TRY RL15 It works for the millitary snipers and I bet it works for you too ! ...tj3006

My three "go to" powders for .308 are RL 15, Varget, and Ramshot TAC, in no particular order for bolt guns. 4895 is really safe in Gas guns where you want the port pressure in a certain pressure window to avoid beating the gun apart.
