I've been working with a friend's 300 RUM and finally settled on a load. 94.5 of RE 22 with a 165 HP Game King. Three shoots is about .800. Ballistic Tips were close at about .900. 168 Match Kings were about .600. Email and I'll give you more details.

its a 300 win ultra mag model 70 stainless classic. it chambers the 300 RUM rounds. I think it's the only brass you can get for it.

RL 22 and RL 25 have always worked nicely for me in my magnums. (300 Win, 338 Ultra, and 7.82 Warbird) I highly recommend them!

At 30/06 speeds thye expand really rapidly so for your cannon I would leave them as a varmint bullet I would think.

At 300yds I shot a 165gr NBT going 3400fps+ at the muzzle out of my 300 RUM into wet newspapers and only found fragments of the bullet. I second the previous post about using them for varmints only.
