I loaded these 204 Ruger with 40 gr bullet about 4 yrs ago. These cases only had neck resizig and this was 3 times on reloading for a bolt action rifle with minimum headspace. I fired the split cases in an AR15 with .oo3 + on go gage. This was 18 splits in 25 shots. Has anyone else had trouble with the Hornady cases?

The brass probably just needs to be annealed. The small calibers with thick necks really get a work out with factory dies. Stretching and shrinking a 204 neck by 0.015 works the brass a lot more than the same work on a 308.
