Whos got some good 270 Wby loads? I just became the proud owner of one, and plan to try the 140gr tsx in it first. RL 22 and 25 are on my to do list with this gun.

I use IMR 7828 (forget the exact load) behind a 130 grs TSX in mine. I found best accuracy below max, and my barrel is probably not the fastest, so I ended up with something like 3250 fps muzzle velocity.

I liked IMR 7828 too. I think something like V-V N 170 would be worth a gamble also.

I've gotten great results with Wea Brass, Fed 215 GMM, and 150 HDY SPs over Max charges of R22. In this factory MV it is 3265fps at 15', SUB moa at 200, and will absolutely knock the daylights out of 200-240lb Miss River Delta Whitetail Bucks.
