Does anyone have recommendations for 110gr(For varminting) and 180gr(for big game) bullets in the .308win with Somchem powder?
Regards, Eugene

My .308W's OCW with 180gr Sierra Game King using S 335 is 38.8gr for 2424 ft/s. With S 341 it is 42.2gr for 2520 ft/s. In my rifle S 341 is also more accurate. S 355 is too slow for the .308W. Unfotunately I have not done any reloading with 110gr bullets. My rifle's best load for bushveld hunting is 200gr Sierra Game Kings in front of 39.0 S 341 at 2205ft/s.

Check out some 185 gr Lapua Megas. They are shorter than some 180's and fit the mag of a 308win well.

Eugene,

My 'go-to' bushveld load:

Rhino 180gr Solid Shank (EXCELLENT Bullet!)
S341 42.0gr
Case PMP
Primer CCI 200
OAL 71.0mm
Vel: 2547
V/C 60.64

Check it out (carefully) - it kicks the absolute cr@p out of everything I have taken with it. Shoots straight, too.
