I use IMR4350 in 140gr Nosler BT's for Coues deer and with 160gr NPs for elk. Max loads per the loading manual result in MOA or better groups in my M70.

Australian made H4831SC (short cut) or H1000 are both good powders in the 7mmRM. Not sure what H1000 is like for metering but the SC version (short cut) was made to give better metering of the classic H4831 powder. My nephew uses both in his 7mmRM to get 3000+fps with 160-162gr bullets.

I've used IMR 4831 for many years in 3 different 7mm Mags. It's worked well for me.

Also take a look at the 4831SSC (super short cut) Frank "I don't know what there is about buffalo that frightens me so.....He looks like he hates you personally. He looks like you owe him money." - Robert Ruark, Horn of the Hunter, 1953 NRA Life, SAF Life, CRPA Life, DRSS lite

The short cut version of IMR 7828 will meter better, but I have been using 7828, Retumbo, and H870. I'm about out of 870, and because of versitility will probably stock IMR7828sc.
